Sara Smith, a native of Brighton, TN, is our extern for the 2026/2027 academic year. An audiology extern is a graduate student in their final year of their doctoral program who treats patients under the supervision of fully licensed audiologists to finish their training and earn their degree. Sara graduated with her undergraduate degree in 2022 from the University of Knoxville and will graduate with her doctorate of Audiology in May of 2027. In her free time, you can find her with her dog Boba or going to trivia!
