Welcome to Memphis Hearing Aid and Audiological Services Web Page!
|
Thank you for taking time to look at the extensive array of services we have to offer. In 1984, Ben Cox, a certified, licensed Audiologist, established Memphis Hearing Aid with the primary goal of providing caring, professional services to individuals experiencing difficulty with hearing loss. Over the years, he has assembled a qualified staff of certified, licensed Audiologists who are interested in helping you. Our clinical Audiologists have master's or doctoral degrees and post-graduate training in hearing amplification and rehabilitation. Following a graduate program and a nine-month clinical fellowship, each Audiologist must pass a national and state examination which tests knowledge and skills required to be a certified and licensed Audiologist. Each member of our team strives to help individuals who have a hearing loss improve their quality of life. |
According to a national survey, hearing amplification can help people improve their overall health by strengthening interpersonal relationships, reducing anger and frustration, improving emotional stability and self-reliance, and enhancing social activity.* Hearing aids significantly improve quality of life for many individuals by providing better hearing. If you have noticed difficulty hearing or communicating with people in certain situations, a complimentary hearing evaluation and consultation may answer many of your questions. The following pages will provide information regarding our services, policies and procedures and various types of amplification. We welcome any questions that you have about your hearing health care needs. You may call us at (901) 682-1529 or email us at audiologists@memphishearingaid.com.
